The Bark centerpiece was designed by Michel Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui. Both of Belgian origin, the designers drew inspiration from the place they call home: Casa Boucquillon in Tuscany, a space for experimentation, meditation, and work, where they live in harmony with nature. As its name suggests, the piece evokes the bark of trees. Its elongated, concave shape recalls the structure of a tree trunk. The result is a highly poetic yet functional object: the perforated surface makes it ideal for keeping fruit fresh.
