Attuned to the storytelling power of objects, Sicilian architect Mario Trimarchi designed the “Ossidiana” espresso coffee maker. It features echoes of traditional moka pots, as well as the volcanic stone that gives the collection its name. Its ergonomic shape sits comfortably in the hand and ensures an easy grip when opening and closing. The small knob, coated in thermoplastic resin to prevent burns, almost seems to disappear, allowing the coffee maker’s body to fully express its striking visual presence.
